We want FunZone to be enjoyed by as many people as possible, and we welcome disabled guests and guests with additional needs. If you're unsure whether our sessions will suit someone in your group, please get in touch before you book — we'd far rather talk it through with you than have you arrive and find it isn't right.
Accessibility adjustments at Fun Zone Bounce & Play
We have designed our play zone with accessibility in mind, following the latest guidelines and standards to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests. Our play zone's features and attractions have been adapted to provide an inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.
We have taken several measures to enhance accessibility, including ensuring clear pathways, providing accessible seating areas, and ease of access via our no-step entrance. Our staff is trained to provide help and support where necessary, ensuring that every visitor can make the most of their time at Fun Zone Bounce and Play.
Accessibility arrangements at Fun Zone Bounce & Play
At Fun Zone Bounce and Play, we have implemented various accessibility arrangements to ensure that our play zone is welcoming and inclusive for as many people as possible. From parking facilities to activity areas, we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest.
SEN sessions
We run dedicated SEN sessions with lower numbers and a calmer environment. If a busy general session wouldn't suit, these are often a better fit. Session times are listed on our booking page.
What the inflatable arena requires
Our inflatable equipment is air-filled and deliberately unstable underfoot. There is no rigid floor, the units are interconnected and open, and multiple guests move freely around the arena at the same time.

Because of this, everyone using the inflatables needs to be able to move around them either independently, or with the hands-on support of a designated adult who stays with them throughout the session.

For the safety of the user and of everyone else in the arena, we are not able to:
​
take wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches or similar mobility aids onto the inflatable equipment
provide hoists, transfer equipment, or any form of lifting or physical transfer
provide personal care, or one-to-one physical support on the inflatables

Our staff supervise the arena for general safety but do not provide individual assistance to guests, and this applies equally to everyone.
Everywhere else on site
Our café, seating areas, reception and washroom facilities are step-free and accessible, and mobility aids are welcome throughout. Guests who prefer not to use the inflatables are very welcome to come along and use these areas.
Carers
A carer accompanying a guest who needs support is admitted free of charge. Additional carers are charged at £3pp. Please let us know when booking so we can plan numbers.
Deciding what's right
We don't assess individual guests' abilities, and we can't judge what any particular person can safely manage — you know them, and we don't. As with all our sessions, it's for each guest, parent or carer to decide whether taking part is appropriate, taking account of the demands of the activity described above and in our Terms & Conditions.
